Helping Lisa and Darren update their Colonial, 1920s home was a project we loved so much. Lisa and Darren had been waiting for years to complete their dream renovations and we were more than thrilled to help.
We focused on updating the kitchen, dining room, and living room, with a goal to elevate the space’s feel and create a more welcoming environment that felt true to the family. While maintaining the charm of the home’s originality, we also incorporated more modern pieces and colors to refresh the space.
What I loved most in this home were the windows. The kitchen had this wonderful view of their backyard and got such perfect light in the afternoons. Keeping the color palette bright helped attract so much more of the natural sunlight. The window seat in the entry also welcomed the opportunity to add a lovely and unexpected reading nook – it ended up being one of our favorite spots in the house.
Nate and I loved working with Condrans to design a space they always dreamed of and can continue to grow in as a family.
