For Ashley and Sushil, bringing life to their 1950s home was the main goal. As they were starting a new chapter together, they had dreams of updating the space to feel true to them. They wanted to craft an environment that allows them to make memories they’ll look back on for years to come.
As newlyweds coming from a small apartment, Ashley and Sushil didn’t have many belongings to bring to the home. We had the pleasure of incorporating many new pieces rather than our typical process of repurposing family heirlooms - it was so special getting to select the items that they can cherish and build upon for years to come. We incorporated many Japanese-inspired elements with custom wabi-sabi-inspired coffee and dining tables. The dark wood elements throughout combined with the warm paint hues created such a coziness in the space.

Hearing the news of their coming baby at the reveal was a moment I’ll never forget - we loved being able to help Ashley and Sushil create the home their family will continue to grow in.
