The last episode of The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project was one of my very favorite homes to work on. Elliot and Jordan purchased a Tudor-style home that we instantly fell in love with – they gave us complete freedom with the design.
Coming from the city, Elliot and Jordan brought furniture pieces that we were able to re-purpose. We converted their custom dining table that previously lived in their apartment’s banquette area to the work space / sunroom in their new home. We loved incorporating their incredibly curated pieces into the rooms of this house and watching the styles meld together.
Art was a strong theme in the design here. We carefully selected pieces from Elliot’s dad to incorporate and played with Glamora’s Bellagio wallpaper in the dining room – it’s actually the same one we have in our apartment, I couldn’t resist!
One of the biggest debates in the design of this home was over the moldings - while they were a gorgeous color, we thought bleaching them might add a brightness to the space. We decided on keeping them as-is to maintain the integrity of the home, but modernized the design with intentional furniture pieces and objects that complemented the space perfectly.
With plans to grow their family, Elliot and Jordan will have a home that welcomes whatever the future brings.
